my dad tells why he built a temple for his parents?

iam a financier,i constructed a temple for my parents — mother V. Jagathamba and father S. Vellainaicker — at a cost of Rs 30 lakh on 8,000 square feet of land adjacent to my house. “My father passed away when I was 14 years old. Since then, my mother brought me up and my sister facing a lot of difficulties. She passed away in 2008 due to illness. After her demise, I decided to construct the temple,” The temple is built where my mother was buried. While the statue of my father stands tall at 7-1/4 feet, the height of my mother’s statue is 6-3/4 feet. They cost Rs 6 lakh. “I have erected a Siva Lingam along with the statue of my mother and father in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple to show that they are equal to God. To show that my parents are greater than God, I have erected the statues of my parents that are three times bigger than the Lingam,”
